In Iowa, the state Department of Economics Renewable Fuel Infrastructure Program board has approved $1.52 million in grants for the expansion of biodiesel and E85 infrastucture. 43 retailers and terminal operators shared in the awards. A total of 28 awards went to ethanol and biodiesel dispensers, while 12 tank wagons and three biodiesel terminals received financial assistance.
The board plans a total of $13 million in grants over a three-year period to support the deployment of renewable fuel infrastructure.
