Biofuels Digest Index gains 0.34 percent to 52.55

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, gained 0.34 percent in light trading to close at 52.55 as selected small caps and corn processors made gains.  Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) gained 2.51 percent to $27.75, while Aventine Renewable Energy (AVR) lost 20.83 percent to close at $0.57. Among small caps, Momentum Biofuels (MMBF.OB) gained 40.00 percent to close $0.35. Overall, advances led declines by 3 to 2 for the day.
