Colorado Center for Biorefining and Biofuels awards $600,000 in seed grants

In Colorado, the Colorado Center for Biorefining and Biofuels has awarded $600,000 in seed grants to 12 biorefining and biofuel process projects. Each project will receive $50,000. A total of 45 groups applied for grants. The Center is a partnership of the University of Colorado-Boulder, the Colorado School of Mines, the National Renewable Energy Laboratory and Colorado State University, founded in 2007.
