PetroSun to proceed to catfish pond conversion program for algae cultivation; establishes royalty scheme for farmers

In Arizona, the directors of PetroSun have approved a royalty plan for catfish pond owners who convert their ponds to algae cultivation. The company’s Algal Oil Working Interest Program is designed to facilitate the buildup of a commercial-scale source of algae in the Mississippi River Delta states of Texas, Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama and Arkansas, for the company’s proposed algal biodiesel operations.
