Biofuels Digest Index plunges 6.62 percent to all-time low of 45.02

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, plunged 6.62 percent to an all-time low of 45.02 as world markets reeled.  Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) fell 0.99 percent to $21.92,  while The Andersons (ANDE) fell 11.54 percent to $13.72. Among small caps, GreenPlains (GPRE) fell 4.13 percent to $3.25. Overall, declines led advances 5 to 1 for the day.
