In California, Pacific Ethanol has adjusted its previously reported third-quarter earnings, by increasing a non-cash impairment charge related to the construction suspension at its proposed Imperial Valley plant. The impairment charge was increased from $26.6 million to $40.9 million, increasing the company’s losses in the third quarter to $69.2 million.
