Green Flight completes first US transcontinenal flight powered by biodiesel

In Florida, the first-ever transcontinental flight using biodiesel fuel was completed Green Flight International. The 2486 air mile California to Florida flight was completed using B100 for 1776 miles and B50 for the remainder. B50 was used for the purpose of comparing engine performance. The biodiesel was supplied by Lake Erie Biofuels, a BQ9000 certified supplier.
