In Illinois, Aventine Renewable Energy announced its third quarter results, with revenues flat at $599.6 million compared to $601.8 million for the second quarter. The company recorded a profit of $2.5 million for the quarter, reversing a Q2 loss caused by losses in divesting auction rate securities. The company generated $56 million in positive cash flow for the first nine months of 2008.
