The National Governors Association announced public-private partnerships between General Motors and Alabama, Florida, Idaho, Kansas, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, Ohio, Tennessee and Wisconsin to accelerate E85 availability. The partnerships will focus on selection of locations as well as development on infrastructure. GM will leverage its dealer, plant and office network as well as its network of ethanol partners, while states will establish E85 task forces to identify target areas for E85, and develop pump conversion financing options.
