E-Fuel MicroFueler home-based ethanol system to ship this quarter; MSRP at $9995 for sugar-to-ethanol home system

The EFuel100 MicroFueler, a home-based ethanol production system retailing for $9,995 is expected to commence shipping this fall. The 126-cubin foot machine produces ethanol from a sugar-yeast feedstock that can be supplied by E-Fuel, or independently. E-Fuel states that its technology will produce E100 ethanol for $1 per gallon; the MicroFueler uses standard 120-volt power.
