The management of Coskata and General Motors announced that Coskata will prepare to produce and distribute cellulosic ethanol in China. Coskata uses wastes and residues as feedstocks. The company confirmed that it will commence production at its first commercial-scale plant in 2011, and thereafter pursue licensing and partnerships to accelerate its development. General Motors holds a minority stake in the company.
