Biofuels Digest Index slips 0.10 percent to 53.20 on ethanol retreat

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks,  fell back 0.10 percent to 53.20 as ethanol stocks slipped.  The Andersons (ANDE) lost 0.27 percent to close at $33.17, while Aventine Renewable Energy (AVR) fell 7.11 percent to $2.35.  Among small caps, Syntec Biofuel (SYBF.OB) fell 32.00 percent to $0.51. Overall, declines led advances 3 to 2 for the day.
