In Virginia, surrogates for Sen. Barack Obama and Sen. John McCain will debate energy and environmental policy next week at the Washington Dulles Marriott. MSNBC chief Washington correspondent Norah O’Donnell will moderate the debate between former governor George Allen, representing Sen. McCain, and current governor Tim Kaine, represneting Sen. Obama. The debate will cover offshore drilling, water quality, as well as alternative energy themes.
