Chevrolet says no date on the flex-fuel Volt…yet; Toyota aims to scuttle tax credit for plug-in hybrid

In Michigan, the Detroit Free Press highlighted the Chevrolet Volt, the plug-in hybrid, including a discussion of plans for a flex-fuel version of the Volt, and efforts by Toyota to kill a planned $7500 credit for Volt buyers included in a tax package passed by the US House of Representatives last week and heading for a Senate vote tomorrow.
