Biofuels Digest Index falls 0.88 percent to 66.26 on general market retreat

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, fell 0.88 percent to 66.26 as the broader markets retreated amidst market turmoil.  For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) fell 1.65 percent to $23.68, while Nova Biosource Fuels (NBF) gained 61.90 percent to close at $0.34.  Among small caps, Raven Biofuels (RVBF.OB) gained 12.70 percent to close at $0.71. Overall, declines led advances 3 to 2 for the day.
