Mascoma, Methes bolster boards with energy experts
Biofuels technology companies Mascoma and Methes Energy announced additions to their Board of Advisors and Board of Directors, respectively.
Mascoma added Andreas Lippert, the director of Global Energy Systems for General Motors. Dr. Lippert leads GM’s strategic analysis and outlook on global energy developments and energy supply chains, and co-authored GM’s recent foundational outlook on energy diversity for transportation.
Meanwhile, Methes announced that 30-year petrochemical veteran Kebir Ratnani had joined the company’s board; Ratnani is Senior Vice President of Africa and the Middle East for SNC-Lavalin, and formerly worked for Gulf Oil Canada and Canadian International Paper Company; Ratnani owns 13 patents in natural gas, petrochemical and environmental technologies.
