Biofuels Digest Index recovers 1.54 percent to 65.31 on broader market rally

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, gained 1.54 percent to close at 65.31 as equity markets recovered slightly from Monday’s massive slide.  For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) gained 1.05 percent to close at $23.00, while VeraSun Energy (VSE) rose 6.10 percent to $5.22. Among small caps, Pure Biofuels (PBOF.OB) fell 9.09 percent to $0.20.  Overall, declines and advances were even for the day.
