In Texas, Renewable Energy Group opened its 35 Mgy multi feedstock biodiesel plant in Seabrook. One of the first large-scale biodiesel plants on the Gulf Coast, the plant’s ownership believes that the location is ideal for supplying the south and export markets with biodiesel. The plant will utilize soy, canola and waste fats and residues among its feedstocks.
