In Colorado, Range Fuels announced a partnership with feedstock R&D company Ceres to develop grasses as feedstock for the proprietary K2 thermo-chemical system developed by Range. Range Fuel commenced demonstration plots of sorghum and switchgrass at its Georgia facility last spring as the company explores means of reducing the marginal cost of cellulosic ethanol production.
