Three-part series on California ethanol mandate; part three follows 1 billion gallons of ethanol from Iowa to the Golden State

Gas2.org has published the third part of Alexis Madrigal’s reports on the California ethanol mandate. The third part focuses on the logistics of transporting 1 billion gallons of ethanol per year from  the Midwest to California via the railway system. The article details the 90 rail cars that enter California every day carrying Midwestern biofuels, and the difficulties in souring terminal and storage facilities for renewable fuels.
