In Illinois, Aventine Renewable Energy CEO Ron Miller told Reuters that he believed the ethanol industry was ready for consolidation. Miller also said that he was not concerned about the Republican Party’s abandonment of the ethanol mandate and that margins for the ethanol maker would be soft but not negative.
