Maple Energy acquires 1299 hectares in support of sugarcane ethanol project in Peru

In Peru, Maple Energy announced that it completed acquisition of 1,299 hectares of land near the proposed Maple Energy sugarcane ethanol plant. Meanwhile, the company reported overall income of $12.9 million in $48.3 million in sales, up 32 percent over 2007.
