9 Mgy waste oil biodiesel plant launches in Ireland

In Ireland, the 9 Mgy Green Biofuels Ireland waste oil biodiesel plant at Marshmeadows has commenced production. The company said that it had completed production of its first 1.000 tonne batch. Construction on the plant commenced in March 2007, with Wexford Farmers Co-Op and Green Gem Power as the primary investors in the $35 million project.
