EPA extends ethanol waiver zone to Texas in wake of Hurricane Gustav

The EPA extended its ethanol waiver, ordered on Friday for parts of Louisiana, to Texas. Last month, Texas governor Rick Perry was refused a roll-back of biofuels mandates by the EPA, which said that the impact of ethanol on food prices was negligible.
