In Oregon, Willie Nelson was the headliner at the grand opening of the expanded 5 Mgy Pacific Biodiesel plant in Salem. The Salem plant currently processes recycled cooking oil from restaurants and food processors such as Burgerville and Kettle Foods, into about a million gallons of biodiesel each year. The ownership group acquired waste oil collector Encore Oils to secure feedstock for the plant expansion.
