India’s Godavari pursues first cellulosic ethanol plant in subcontinent, using bagasse as feedstock

In India, Godavari Sugar Mills and the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research announced a partnership to pursue a cellulosic ethanol plant using sugarcane bagasse. The pilot-scale plant, located at Sameerwadi, will be the base for a future expansion to commercial scale production.
