In the United Arab Emirates, Daman Investments annoucned that it would partner with Embio to develop a biodiesel plant with an undisclosed capacity, that will supply Dubai and the other emirates following commencement of operations in the first half of 2009. The plant will use non-food oils as feedstocks, according to management.
