In Nebraska, local observers say that the E85 Ethanol plant in Wahoo has workers cutting up equipment that was recently welded, in what locals say is a sure sigh that the project is dead. Construction is still proceeding on a distillers grains storage unit, but workers on that project say that they are leaving the project after that unit is completed.
