Biofuels Digest Index falls 1.28 percent to close at 73.46 on agribusiness dip

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, fell 1.28 percent Friday to close at 73.46 as agribusiness and petroleum fell while ethanol recovered. For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) fell 1.28 percent to $26.21, while VeraSun Energy (VSE) gained 1.82 percent to $6.14. Among small caps, Momentum Biofuels (MMBF.OB) gained 83.33 percent to close at $0.55.  Overall, declines and advances were even for the day.
