In Iowa, Congressman Leonard Boswell held a press conference in conjunction with the Magellan Pipeline Company, Iowa Corn Growers and the Iowa Renewable Fuel Association to build support for the Renewable Fuel Pipeline Act proposed by Boswell and Lee Terry (R-NE). The bill, introduced in July, would add renewable fuel pipelines as eligible projects for federal loan guarantees. H.R. 6692, amends the loan guarantee program under the Energy Policy Act of 2005 to add renewable fuel pipelines as an eligible project category.
