The Federal Trade Commission has ordered that all US pumps dispensing B5 or high blends of biodiesel have proper identification. The FTC has issued a 44-page ruling outlining its labeling requirements, and will impose fines of up to $11,000 per day for non-compliance. The regulations take affect on December 16, 2008.
Meanwhile, OPIS has developed a series of weather-resistant pump decals retailing at $0.99 each.
