Biofuels Digest Index falls 2.26 percent to 74.30 on ethanol, agribusiness slide

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, fell 2.26 percent Friday to an all-time low of 74.30 as ethanol, petroleum and agribusiness slid.For the day, British Petroleum (BP) fell 2.23 percent to close at $57.52, while The Andersons (ANDE) fell 3.67 percent to close at $44.10. Among small caps, Nove Biosource Fuels (NBF) lost 26.67 percent to close at $0.22.  Overall, declines led advances 2 to 1 for the day.
