Australian Industry Group calls on government to abandon renewables targets, stick to cap-and-trade

In Australia, the Australian Industry Group has called on the Federal Government to abandon a 20 percent renewable energy target set for 2020, saying that proposed cap-and-trade emissions policies made renewable energy targets redundant. The AIG called the targets “risky and ill-concieved” according to yahoo.com.
