The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, gained 0.12 percent yesterday to close at 76.78 as ethanol and agribusiness retreated. For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) fell 0.57 percent to close at $26.34, while Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) slumped 13.50 percent to close at $2.05. Among small caps, Xethanol (XNL) rose 2.13 percent to $0.48. Overall, advances and declines were even for the day.
