In Texas, small-scale biodiesel processor maker Rend Corp says that it has doubled staff and quadrupled sales this year, after the company’s website debuted in April and oil prices soared. The company told the Midland Reporter-Telegram that sales went from “one to two a month” to four per week. The company says that its equipment reduces the batch processing cycle from 24 hours to eight, and passes ASTM standards.
