Biofuels Digest Index gains 2.00 percent to close at 76.87 on ethanol, agribusiness rise

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, gained 2.00 percent yesterday to close at 76.87 as ethanol and agribusiness advanced. For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) rose 1.77 percent to close at $26.49, while Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) gained 12.32 percent to close at $2.37.  Among small caps, MGP Ingredients (MGPI) rose 1.55 percent to $5.90.  Overall, advances led declines 2 to 1 for the day.
