Biofuels Digest Index jumps 5.47 percent to 79.08 on ADM recovery

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, rebounded 5.47 percent yesterday to 79.08 as Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) found some investor support.  For the day, ADM gained 5.76 percent to close at $27.36,  while VeraSun Energy (VSE) gained 6.21 percent to $6.84. Among small caps, Xethanol (XNL) rose 4.88 percent to $0.43. Overall, advances led declines 5 to 2 for the day.
