Boeing tests B20 biodiesel and jet fuel mix in hydroplane at Seafair race

In Washington state, Boeing has arranged a biofuel test at the Seafair Chevrolet Cup hydroplane race in Seattle this month. A B20 biodiesel blend with jet fuel will be tested in one engine of the Ellstrom Elam Plus hydroplane, piloted by Chip Hanauer. Hydroplanes use jet fuel, and the test is an extension of Boeings biodiesel and jet fuel testing, which commenced with a B20 test conducted with Virgin Atlantic in February.
