Biofuels Digest Index drops 1.33 percent to 80.98 on mixed agribusiness, ethanol results

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, fell 1.33 percent yesterday to 80.98 amidst mixed agribusiness and ethanol results.  For the day, The Andersons (ANDE) gained 1.59 percent to $46.11, while VeraSun Energy (VSE) gained 3.90 percent to $6.39 leading the ethanol stocks. Among small caps, Bluefire Ethanol (BFRE.OB) gained 1.22 percent to $4.15.  Overall, advances led declines 2 to 1 for the day.
