Biofuels Digest Index falls 0.54 percent to 84.45 as agribusiness slips, ethanol rallies

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, fell 0.54 percent to 84.45 as agribusiness weakness offset ethanol gains. For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) fell 0.77 percent to $29.66, while VeraSun Energy (VSE) advanced 2.99 to $6.20 to pace a small ethanol rally.   Among small caps, Intrepid Technology & Resources (ITRB) fell 23.08 percent to $0.10.  Overall, advances led declines 2 to 1 for the day.
