Amaizing Energy installs corn oil extraction system at 55 Mgy Iowa ethanol plant

In Iowa, Amaizing Energy will install a SmaartOil corn oil extraction system at its 55 Mgy corn ethanol plant in Denison. The system, made by Primafuel, will provide a third income stream for the plant in the sale of corn oil to the biodiesel and food markets, in addition to ethanol and distiller’s grains sales.  “There were plenty of technologies on the market, but we felt Primafuel offered the best overall package, in terms of a technology and business solution,” said Alan Jentz,  Amaizing Energy President and GM.
