Biofuels Digest Index falls 2.84 percent to all-time low of 84.94

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, fell 2.84 percent Friday to close at an all-time low of 84.94.  For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) was down 3.07 percent to $30.29, while VeraSun Energy (VSE) also fell 3.07 percent to $4.10. Among small caps, Bluefire Ethanol (BFRE.OB) fell 2.67 percent to $3.65.  Overall, advances led declines 4 to 3 for the day.
