Biofuels Digest Index recovers 2.17 percent to 89.03 on agribusiness improvement

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, recovered 2.17 percent to 89.03 on improvements in agribusiness and ethanol stocks.  For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) gained 2.37 percent to $31.91, while Aventine Renewable Energy (AVR) gained 3.29 percent to lead an ethanol recovery. Among small caps, Xethanol (XNL) advanced 15.38 percent to close at $0.45. Overall, advances led declines 3 to 2 for the day.
