Biofuels Digest Index drops 3.13 percent to all-time low of 87.14 amidst overall stock market contraction

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, dropped 3.13 percent to an all-time low of 87.14 as the overall stock market contracted.  For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) lost 3.08 percent to $31.17, while VeraSun Energy (VSE) dropped 5.61 percent to $4.21.  Among small caps, Environmental Power (EPG) lost 2.84 percent to close at  $4.11.  Overall, declines and advances were even for  the day.
