Biofuels Digest Index drops 1.00 percent to 93.04 on agribusiness weakness

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, dropped 1.00 percent to 93.04 on a fall in agribusiness stocks.  For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) lost 1.33 percent to $33.30, while Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) dropped 12.71 percent to $1.58, although VeraSun Energy (VSE) gained 8.47 percent to close at $4.48.  Among small caps, Xethanol (XNL) fell 10.87 percent to $0.41.  Overall, declines led advances 2 to   the day.
