Biofuels Digest Index recovers 1.94 percent to 93.03 as flooding fears ease

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, recovered 1.94 percent to 93.03 as the Midwestern floods crested.  For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) gained 2.54 percent to close at 33.50, while VeraSun Energy (VSE) fell 13.43 percent to $4.32.  Among small caps, Green Shift (GERS.OB) fell 11.11 percent to close at $0.08.   Overall, declines led advances 2 to 1 for the day.
