Biofuels Digest Index drops 1.17 percent to all-time low of 91.26

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, fell 1.17 percent yesterday to an all-time low of 91.26 as agribusiness and ethanol stocks continued to wither. For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) fell 1.36 percent to close at $32.67, while VeraSun Energy (VSE) recovered 9.91 percent to $4.99.  Among small caps, Environmental Power (EPG) fell 10.39 percent to close at $4.40.   Overall, declines led advances 3 to 2 for the day.
