Japan’s Denso commences biodiesel conversion test for air-conditioning systems

In Japan, Denso said that it has commenced the test conversion of its industrial air conditioners to biodiesel, under a plan to introduce conversion to biodiesel by 2010.  The 119,000 employee organization said that it expects to reduce air conditioning-related greenhouse gas emissions by up to 90 percent with the move.

Biodiesel conversions and mandates background

The conversion would add to a lengthy list of recent conversions and approvals for B5, B20 and B100.
