Brazil’s President Lula “Our sugar plantations are 2,000km away from our rainforest. That is the distance from the Vatican to the Kremlin. Ethanol is like cholesterol. Good ethanol helps to tackle the pollution of the planet and is competitive. Bad ethanol depends on the fat of subsidies.”
