In Iowa, management at the proposed 110 Mgy Vision Fuels project say that they have met the City of Des Moines proof of financing deadline and are now aimed at a November 1st deadline to complete purchase of a 164-acre land parcel from the city for the plant’s site. The company said that it now expects to construct a $300 million “next generation” plant. The company said that it expects to commence construction by March 2009 and will be in production by August 2010.
